***Ceremony House Concerts presents the "Sounds of Summer Festival" Dates: Friday, July 18th, Saturday, July 19th, & Sunday, July 20th 2008 Times: musical performances start at 9pm Friday & Saturday, 2pm on Sunday The Sounds of Summer Festival lasts all weekend long Location: Sebastopol, California, 95472 ***RSVP to Ceremony House Concerts for tickets and for directions to the event! NOTE: Mountaindawg performs on Sunday Afternoon * ALL AGES, including children, welcome Cost: Suggested Donation $10-15 per day, $30 for all weekend DETAILS: Ceremony House Concerts is an intimate venue surrounded by forests and gardens. Performances there are focused on the inspirational power of music. As they say on their site at Ceremony House Concerts : "The musical moments we cultivate here are life changing; inspire community; and support music, art, theater, intention, family and entertainment ". Join Umana, our host, for either the weekend, or just for one day, either way, what a wonderful experience to share! Limited camping is available RSVP to us now to save a camp spot with Mtndawgs camp group! uMana will be sharing his outdoor deck & indoor stage with other Artists, including Mountaindawg, Dead Set, Otters Making Music, John Tyler Garcia, Conception Vessel One, Blisses B, The Dawns First Breath, Brad Tilden, and Mesa Pegasus. Check out the sounds of trip hop, classical, emotronic, folk, tribal, and trance. The SOUNDS of SUMMER FESTIVAL combines music of all types from all eras into one harmonious sound. There will also be a drum circle, song circles, a wake & create cirle each day, sound healing journey, hypnotherapy, crystal healing activation sessions, kids music circle, fire pit, and Yoga. uMana is our Host. uMana music has a delicious blend of folk, rock and trance, expressed through primal rhythm, indigenous tribal sound, dijeridu, vocal percussion, throat singing, hook laden guitar grooves, and inspirational flows that melt into an entertaining and inspirational music journey. On Sunday, Mountaindawg will share his original heartfelt Rock 'n' Roll. Uplifting songs laden with heartfelt messages of Love, Peace, and Freedom. uMana, Mtndawg, and many other talented musicians are destined to share some music together during the weekend, creating a ONE TIME experience with all who are present. ***Santa Rosa Downtown Market & Street Faire DATE: August 6th, 2008 (always Wednesday) Fourth Street, from "B" to "D" Streets in downtown Santa Rosa, California, 95404. SHOWTIME: 5pm -8pm *Note: ALL AGES, FREE EVENT DETAILS:Mountaindawg has been invited for the 4th year to share his original Heartfelt Rock 'n' Roll with the attendees of the Santa Rosa Downtown Market on 2 evenings during this 2008 season(he already performed there on June 25th). The Market is located along Fourth Street in downtown Santa Rosa and runs from "B" (Santa Rosa Plaza) to "D" Streets, including Mendocino Ave. This is Sonoma Counties largest and most popular Farmers Market and street faire. Every Wednesday night, from May 21st to Labor Day, the Downtown Market brings the community together to celebrate and showcase the bounty of Sonoma County by offering fine foods, fresh produce, a wonderful variety of entertainment, and handmade arts and crafts. Look for Mtndawg on Fourth Street near the front of the "Sweet Spot Pub & Grill". Mtndawg will be performing Solo/Acoustic.
***Hedgehog Productions Presents a Benefit for Nicholas Eaken DATE: Sunday, September 7th, 2008 Cost:TBA LOCATION: Quincys Pub & Cafe, 6590 Commerce Blvd, Rohnert Park, California, 94928. SHOWTIME: 4pm DETAILS:Have a great time while helping to raise funds for a chronically ill little boy from Healdsburg, California, Nicholas Eaken. Originally diagnosed with Burkitt?s Lymphoma Cancer which is driven by a weak immune system and infections. He Was not able to complete Chemotherapy due to an underlying immune problem and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. The only Hope for Nicholas is to be treated by a specialist at Cincinnati Children?s Hospital (Dr. Rothenberg, an expert on the disorder). Health Net (COBRA) Insurance has declined to cover any part of the cost to treat him there. No treatment here has helped. So, lets try to help raise some badly needed funds for Nicholas! Mtndawg will be performing Solo/Acoustic, and there will be 6 to 8 other music acts performing throughout the evening.

"HANDMADE MUSIC" DETAILS: Mountaindawg hosts a regular live music night in his own town. He shares his original music, plus, now & then, invites special guest musicians to join him. Dates for 2008: T.B.A. The Coffee Bazaar is open daily at 7am, with indoor and outdoor seating, and is a refreshing alternative to the chain Coffee shops popping up everywhere. They serve the best organic, fair trade and shade grown coffee, along with LOTS of other yummy handmade things to drink and eat. If you live nearby, or are renting a cabin in the woods and just want a great place to hang out, drink coffee and check your e-mail, Coffee Bazaar is the place to go. Come out and enjoy a tasty treat while listening to some Mtndawg and other handmade local music.
Mountaindawg is in the Mastering stage of his upcoming new CD. The upcoming 2-CD set,"Handmade" is coming along great! DETAILS: With the changes in the band this year, Mtndawg decided to wait to release the 10 completed electric songs he recorded with Fast Freddie & Mark Eads. Instead, he is recording some Solo-Acoustic music to include, since he is performing Solo more often. The new duel CD set will have a full 10 electric songs, and even more songs of Solo Acoustic Jodawg. Mountaindawg will be planning his shows around friends and fans.
